Prolific Offender Caught - South Lambeth Road

On 16th February 2026, officers from the Oval & Vauxhall Safer Neighbourhood Team arrested one of the area’s most prolific offenders in Co-op South Lambeth Road for multiple shoplifting offence and breach of Criminal Behaviour Order.

On 17th February 2026, at Croydon Magistrates’ Court, the offender received a 29-week prison sentence.

Across Lambeth, we remain committed to targeting the most prolific offenders who cause the greatest harm to our local businesses.

As the retail crime lead, I urge local businesses to report prolific offenders who are persistently targeting your premises. If you provide evidence such as CCTV footage and statements supporting prosecution, we will ensure these offenders are caught and brought to justice.
